Tiffany Masson, Psy.D.


Dr. Tiffany Masson is a licensed clinical psychologist with a wealth of training and experience in forensic psychology. Her private practice is built on the expertise she has developed in forensic evaluations, specifically in the areas of juvenile and criminal proceedings, child protection cases, and civil matters.

Dr. Masson maintains an active presence in the forensic psychology professional field with the recent publication of a professional and educational resource, Inside Forensic Psychology, and national presentations on mental health, trauma and delinquency, and child welfare matters. Articles that she has co-authored about forensic evaluations and Termination of Parental Rights evaluations have appeared in publications such as the Nevada Law Journal and the Journal of Psychiatry and Law.

Dr. Masson obtained her Doctor of Clinical Psychology degree at the California School of Professional Psychology, accredited by the American Psychological Association. She completed her internship and post-doctoral fellowship at the University of California Davis Children's Hospital, where she conducted court-ordered parenting capacity evaluations and provided empirically based treatment to children and families involved with the Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS). After the completion of her training, Dr. Masson was employed by Cook County Juvenile Court and Northwestern School of Law as a staff psychologist during which she conducted various forensic evaluations and provided expert testimony related to child protection and juvenile justice matters.

In addition to her private practice, Dr. Masson serves as the Interim Campus Dean for the Chicago Campus of The Chicago School of Professional Psychology (TCSPP), the nation's largest not-for-profit university dedicated to preparing professionals in psychology and related behavioral and health sciences. Prior to accepting a leadership position at TCSPP, she taught in the Forensic Psychology Department, sharing her expertise in forensic evaluations, complex trauma, and evidence-basic treatment with students. Currently, she is responsible for the strategic, financial, and operational success of the university's largest campus and co-manages the implementation of a five-year strategic plan that positions the university as a pioneer in preparing integrated health care professionals.
